    AD is soft, people made it seem like he was working so hard this off-season to be better and get his body right for the season. He just doesn’t have that motor to play at a high level constantly, that was cool when he was playing for New Orleans but when them expectations start coming up he hasn’t lived up. Frank Vogel won a championship with arguably lesser talent than the team they have now if we being real. LeBron hasn’t been there majority of the season so far. Anthony Davis & Russell Westbrook on the same team should be enough to carry and beat a lot of these really bad teams that they’ve lost too this year. For as long as Lebron is playing the Lakers are fine .. AD and Russ are the 2 major support that will keep the Lakers stable for as long as they play on their average not their worst .. imagine them Lebron (25) +AD(24)+Westbrook(21) producing for an average of 70 points on average and sprinkle it with good defense is formidable.. the apparent issue of AD is an exaggeration and he is smart to preserve his body for the long haul .. he does not need to over-extend himself .. just play in sync with Lebron and Russ and its more than enough to win games moving forward.

When LeBron James, Russell Westbrook and Anthony David show up, we have high odds. They’ve been settling too much. When they don’t like last night, those 10+ point leads turn into 15+ and 20+ and a W. If they play to their strengths and cut all the BS out from the perimeter, THEN any additional roster moves help, until then it’s nothing because the team will go as the 3 go.

    I think the Lakers just gave up way too much for AD. While he was far more dominant in New Orleans (dropping 30 pts in 20 minutes) his last year, he wasn't worth giving up all of those assets. I would've at least kept Lonzo instead of having Westbrook and therefore could've kept KCP and Caruso, along with getting some more 3&D players. Brandon Ingram wasn't a good fit and he doesn't impact winning, so getting rid of him wasn't a huge loss tbh. I'm sure they could've offered more draft picks or traded Kuzma instead of Zo. But the Lakers always make dumb moves that cost them. These are obvious moves that the front office should know if they're trying to win a ring

    • @arnienambiar8796

      The Lonzo trade is only a mistake when you look at it now, they had Lonzo for a while and Kuzma was head over heels the better player and the better fit with Bron and AD since he could shoot so well. Kuzma made bonehead plays but he still contributed pretty well in that championship run

    • @12gark
      @12gark 2 года назад

      The Lonzo trade was the only reason they were able to assemble the championship team: without his salary, the AD trade couldn't be completed above the cap, and so no money would be available to get Danny Green, KCP and so on. The AD trade was working only that way.

The entire team needs to play scrappy and hungry rather than a group of entitled over paid aging players. That being said Vogel could be doing a better job of experimenting with different rotations. Vogel is not calibrating quickly enough. Maybe the team needs a new coach to radically change their process.

I don't think he's a terrible coach but he's much better on the defensive side than the offensive side. The Lakers don't have nearly as much defensive talent to work with than offensive talent. Vogel is also easy to replace. As long as you don't replace him with an awful coach, there's no real harm in replacing him. He might not be the biggest problem but he is contributing to the problem.

    AD is really the best player on the team, since he got there, so they go as he goes.
    He won his ring, and has become complacent. He is getting exposed as not being a leader, doesn't want to win multiple rings
    He doesn't have that fire. LeBron is too old to carry him to a title. It's up to AD to carry LeBron now
    And its not gonna happen. Let's be real. He's not that dude. Wasn't that dude in New Orleans. Isn't that dude now.

    Never hear such cracked Commentaries. Wilde's right. LeB is the de facto decision maker and de facto coach. Vogel stays because his coaching allows LeB to play the way he wants. Period. Whether that will lead to a NBA title win is another matter. The primary thing is LeB endorses Vogel because Vogel's coaching allows LeB to play the way he wants and control the basketball narrative. Lakers, Buss and Pelinka and Vogel are not about player development or basketball club development - they are about facilitating LeB on what LeB wants. And that is a form of "player calling the shots".

His rotations been rubbish since the first season, he always make questionable subs, he always take out plasters when they’re on fire, he always would play rubbish Kuzma more minutes than players that’s okaying better than him and now he’s doing yeh same with THT. THT is rubbish and he keep putting him the starting line and he loves his no spacing lineup when he know teams just pack the paint against Lakers

  • @jcjcviews

    😀AD's physical build is awkward, obviously. His body is not that of basketball players. He's got height, strength, and ability, The problem is the attachments to his body are not symmetrical, which makes him injury-prone if he pushes it. The same could apply to your Zion Williamson. He's got all of the skills and talents but his body doesn't fit an NBA professional basketball player. An NBA player must be proportionally arranged in the areas which enhance those things an NBA player must do for over 82 games a year. The more elite you are the more grinding will be expected of you.
